Tender regional (axillary) lymphadenopathy with a small papule/pustule after a cat scratch and no systemic illness is cat scratch disease (Bartonella henselae); it is self-limiting - expectant management, reserving azithromycin for immunocompromised or systemic disease. Amoxicillin-clavulanate is ineffective.
