Thyroid / neck lumps & salivary

Papillary thyroid ca -> lobectomy (low-risk <4 cm) vs total thyroidectomy. Midline lump moving with tongue protrusion/swallowing -> thyroglossal cyst -> Sistrunk excision. Salivary swelling worse with meals + stone -> sialolithiasis (USG/sialogram). Floor-of-mouth swelling + airway compromise after dental work -> Ludwig's angina -> secure airway.
